There is another excellent add-on "ScriptRunner for Jira", where you can use the behavior component of this add-on to control field (hide/display) dynamically based on other fields values.

There is the cascading field but that only works when you want a selection.

No, native JSM functionalities don't offer any possibilities to show fields dynamically.
