Does "Dynamic Forms for Jira" work in the JSM Jira Service Management cloud?
I am interested specifically in the view/edit screen show/hide function.
New features provide more options for easy customization and configuration of dynamic forms.
Here are two major updates that have been introduced lately:
Now users can edit dynamic fields not only in the ‘create an issue’ view, but also when the issue has already been created.
Happy New Year, @David Redwine 🎉
Generally speaking, most Atlassian Marketplace apps that support Jira also support Jira Service Management.
That said, the makers of marketplace apps are encouraged to separately "check the box" for Jira Service Management (if they support it) and Deviniti (who makes Dynamic Forms) has not done that.
That could be an oversight or an indication they do not support it. I suspect it's the latter because Deviniti has been in the marketplace with apps for a long time, and presumably, they would have checked that box if the support it.
@Magdalena Zacharczuk can you shed any light? (She's a community leader who works for Devniniti, David). Meanwhile, consider reaching out to the Deviniti support team directly for a faster answer.
Hope this helps,

Hi @David Redwine ,
As we replied to you in the support ticket, unfortunately, the Dynamic Forms app works only for Jira Software and Jira Work Management projects. Please be kindly informed that we have we task for including other project types in Dynamic Forms for Jira Cloud. The reason we still have not implemented it is that we are currently waiting for Atlassian team to provide the required API that would allow us to extend compatibility to JSM.
Unfortunately, there is no workaround applicable in this case.
Please also note that your use case with pop-up displayed for Agents seems to be very interesting and useful and we will take it into our consideration for sure!
Best regards,
Klaudia
