Duplicate tickets being created from virus scan

Hi,

Anytime a document is attached to an email sent to our service desk inbox, it runs through a virus/malware scan.  As a result of this, a temporary duplicate of the email is created.  JIRA service desk creates tickets for both the original email and the temporary copy.  

Is there anyway through the automation function to stop JIRA from making a ticket for the temporary copy of the email?
