Hi Guys,
I haven't found a solution to my problem yet, maybe you can help me.
Our customers can select a target date when filling out a request via Jira Service Management. So far so good.
However, the problem is that we know that it will take at least 6 weeks to process, for example. But the customer can pick any date and this doesn't help.
Is there a solution for this? Of course I can work with a Post Function here, but the customer should already see the minimum time period during picking the date.
Thank you!
I'm looking for this exact thing too - people only being able to select a date +3 weeks from when a query is raised
I have done it by adding a validator on the very first transition (leading into open / pending, whatever your default status is).
If you set up a form for the user to fill out, the Due Date entered will be checked by the validator.
