Looking for way to create a customer database to include searchable customer name; but also location, level of service, price paid for Support contract, etc.

Hello,

You could use a plugin like User Profiles for Jira

https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/de.communardo.jira.plugins.userprofile/server/overview

You will be able to add your own fields to Jira users, browse them and search on them.
