Confluence Login Issues

I am having issues when I attempt to login into our Confluence page. On my machine it shows I am logged in but does not show my profile in the top right (shown below) and does not pull anything up when I open Confluence. I am able to review our Confluence content on my mobile version but not on my laptop. Any idea what the issue may be or how to resolve?

well the icon that is displaying is actually showing you are not logged in. If you click on the highlighted icon are you not taken to a login page? Please also check the URL to ensure it is what you expect.

When I click the icon to login it just returns me to the same page and does not direct me to a login page.
