we use JIRA (cloud version) currently and would be going to self-hosting architecture for a number of reasons.
My question is,
1. that are there any configurations that are different for the service desk for cloud vs self-hosting.
2. How about email notification, are there any changes we need to do?

Cloud vs On-prem JSM are a bit different, not on the basic functionalities, but especially on the apps. Concerning the email notifications, there are the same on both environments. Both customers and agents notification are the same.
