The option in the formatting bar when replying to customers, is permanently greyed out and does not work. Additionally using the shortcut Ctrl +\ does not work either. Please help! This has been a bug for some time.

Testing on my local site, I was able to use the clear formatting (in my case, using command + \) when selecting some formatted text.
Are you using the old or new issue view?
Is it happening to a classic or next-gen project?
Is it affecting other users?
Also, what browser are you using? Have you tested using another one?
