I am trying to set a specific colour for the banner background on my Jira Service Management portal.
I have selected a red (#ff0000) however due to whatever JSM uses, it turns that red to a shade of pink.
Is there a way to turn this lighter colour formatting off or am I restricted to using a plugin such as Refined for Jira for now?
@Samuel Stephens I was able to make the change just fine. Can you share a screenshot of what you are seeing and what the issue is?
I can’t share a screenshot as the system is airgapped. Can you provide one perhaps and I’ll tell you whether I’m having the same issue?
Making the change is not the problem I’ll add. It’s the colour setting some level of transparency.

@Samuel Stephens I left the image on but could remove it to just have the solid color.

So I've had a look and I'm actually referring to the Announcement banner (aka. announcement subject/announcement message).
If you try and set this to a red as you've done on the banner background, you'll probably find it comes out as a pink color. This is the issue I'm having.
Currently we're working around this using Refined for Jira and the HTML banners it provides however it's causing havoc with some of our more bespoke plugins so would like to in the mean time at least get this fixed or a native alternative found.
Cheers!

@Samuel Stephens The announcement banner is a transparent version of the color that you set so it will be pink in color because it is a transparent version of whatever color you choose. There is no way to change this. There are apps in the Marketplace that allow you to customize the look and feel.

Unfortunately I think that's the case. Back to Refined it is then. Shame there's no RGBA option to set how transparent that box is. Perhaps a good idea for a future feature update.
