Hi all,
I need help with an issue where i do not have any more idea.
I cannot assign a user for a jira service desk ticket.
The assignee field of "Ticekt No" could not be updated. User "name of the user" cannot be assigned issues.
the project settings are done - user is an agent
we have 5 license and 5 agents
steps:
- set user as person / agent in project settings Access
- choose a ticket
- choose assignee
- a list of value is given with all other persons in the company - but not this user, after "enter" - assignee field is empty - ticket is not assigned
- a message appears: The assignee field of SDE-…. Could not be updated.
User xxxxx..xxxxx cannot be assigned issues.
Hello,
user Permission Helper in the issue view (seen under Admin button when you are logged as administrator account). Most often admins forgot to set permission scheme. I think this user is not present (directly or indirectly) in Assignable permission.
