Can you export a data center project to another data center?

Our team is using the data center free trial and is looking through the settings and realizing that we don't see an export option available like the back up option in the cloud version. Is there way to export the data center project we have now to our purchased version of the data center?

We use Configuration Manager for Jira (maybe a trial will suffice for you) to migrate project configuration from DEV to TEST to PROD. 

You should be able to do the same from your trial to your paid instance.

Beyond that, there are no built-in tools to just migrate a project.

@Brady Buttrey You could migrate your trial version's project to the paid account with Unito's 2-way Jira Data Center integration. It comes with a free 2-week trial, so you can set it up to sync issues, then cancel if you don't want to keep using the integration platform.

Hello @Brady Buttrey ~ depending on what you are looking to export, you certainly could just export your issues into csv and import them into your new DC instance.  You would want to export the workflow on your free version first and import them into your paid version.  Aside from that, @Peter-Dave Sheehan is correct.  You would need a third-party app to "lift and shift" projects as a whole (we use Backbone Issue Sync for Jira).  HTH
