We have so many request types, because issuetype is a 1:1 relationship with request type, and we're reporting on issuetype, we made one request for bug, support, enhancement request, etc.
I'm wondering if I can omit the request types from displaying on the portal group page - just the header - like 'Marketing Automation"
@Brandon Lambert Extension for Jira Service Desk allows you to hide requests from the portal or show them to a specific group.

@JimmyVanAU - it doesn't seem like it; it's not mentioned in the Cloud version's docs.
In case @Trevan Householder doesn't see this, I'd reach out to Deviniti to confirm if that feature exists. http://deviniti.com/

Update - so these limitations are due to Atlassian constraints. Deviniti are very much aware of the feature request to have request visibility (on the portal) and option visibility (to hide a custom field after a request type/form has been chosen), and this is on their backlog.
Related constraints are:
[EAC JSDECO-120] Allow apps to hide Request Types on Customer Portal based on some conditions
[JAC JSDCLOUD-195] User(s)/Group(s)/Roles security on creating certain "Request Types"

Doesn't seem like this is possible (not without installing a Jira add-on). :(
