Can we uninstall Jira software? From datacenter

Hi Team,

We have only purchased JSM licenses on our datacenter. We are using majorly service desk projects.

We recently upgraded it to the LTS version We see the Uninstall button for Jira Software though we don't have licenses for Jira software.

Now my question is (might be stupid ), since we are only having JSM licenses, Can/should we uninstall the JIRA software, if yes! would there be any impact of the existing configurations? Please elaborate this......

@Gourav Sharma everything runs on Jira core.  Having Jira Software will not hurt anything and if you decide to use it then it will be there. If you have never used it then you will not have any Jira Software configurations that could possibly be lost. Even if you did used to use it uninstalling it will not impact JSM.  So you are good either way.  If you are worried then just take a snapshot before performing the Uninstall or do it in your test environment first.
