2023 update! Use Zoom? Good news, you now connect your Zoom account to Jira Service Management. When an incident occurs agents, responders, and stakeholders can swarm quickly in a Zoom room from the incident screen in Jira Service Management to begin working on the incident resolution. And anyone else who has access to the link can also join the Zoom meeting. This new connection allows you to:

  • Create Zoom meetings from the incident issue view 
  • Invite responders to join the meeting

Over the past few weeks the team has been working on developing new integrations for Jira Service Desk cloud that I'm excited to tell you about.

Zoom for Jira Service Desk

When support teams need to be more hands on, the Zoom integration for Jira Service Desk will let teams connect with customers quickly to get a clearer understanding of the situation. With Zoom's screen sharing and remote desktop capabilities, support teams can diagnose and resolve issues much faster.

Zapier

We've built an all-new integration for Zapier with JSD specific actions and triggers (SLA's anyone?) to let you integrate JSD with over 1,000 other tools and applications in your workflow. Ever wanted to send a text message or send an email when something happens on a ticket? You can easily automate these use cases and many more using the new Zapier integration.

@Nigel Moore  Our Zapier app is now publicly available: https://zapier.com/apps/jira-service-desk/integrations. Out of curiosity, what applications are you looking to connect to Service Desk?

Initially it would be ActiveCampaign.

We run a membership program and our ActiveCampaign runs lots of automations that currently create tickets for our admin / customer care team in our Asana to perform manual tasks.

When we migrate to Jira Service Desk - we want the same ability to be able to automatically create these tickets from ActiveCampaign automations.
