Automation project - Request trigger : Files attachment

Hi team,

I want to create a new rule where the trigger is file attachment. I want to know what request trigger can i use.

you can probably use:

  • Trigger: Field value changed 
  • Fields to monitor for changes: Attachment

In a ticket for requesting the creation of an article, we need the technical sheet which is not always attached to the creation of the ticket. So after creating the article, the ticket is put on waiting for customer until the file is attached. the rule i want to create is as soon as the datasheet is attached, a notification is sent to a user group called QHSE.

Hi @Danielle Dakaud ,

I would do something like this:

  • Trigger: Field value changed, Fields to monitor for changes: Attachment
  • If: Status equals Waiting for customer
  • Then: Send email to user group QHSE

There's one small problem. I didn't find the way how to distinguish between addition and removal of the attachments, so your users will be notified in the both cases.

Instead of e-mail you can send Slack/Teams/Twilio message.automation.png
