Automation executions - if criteria not met, does it count towards limit?

Sara Schreiner November 3, 2020

If I have the below rule set up to create a ticket in a JSW project when the status changes to 'waiting for engineering', does it count towards my execution limit if the filter on the second section is not met (i.e. the Component does not equal the one specified in the filter), and therefore the 'create new issue' rule does not execute? (see the 'No action taken' from the audit logs)

The 'create new issue' rule is the only one that actually flows across two different projects, which is what counts towards my execution limit, from what I understand.

Hi Sara, yes it will. each trigger counts as an execution.

Thanks Jack, although I realized that since it's the 'create issue in another project', that is exempt from counting towards my executions. So it's a moot point!
