Asset versioning in case of department or division change / use of attributes

Hello!

We are planning to create different schemas for different areas.

In addition, we would use attributes which uniquely reflects the affiliation of the asset and the configuration item.

The problem:

When the domain or affiliation changes, the attribute also changes to the new domain.

Is there a way to list all assets and CI's that were assigned to a defined attribute at a certain time in the past?
