I'm new to JSD and trying to set up some workflows for staff onboarding. Our process requires an approval from one of a group of staff who need to provide some information before they can approve the request (into custom fields).

Hi Steven Davies, Thanks so much for your question. You can customise the approval notifications to include a link to the Jira-side request/issue screen. Have a read of our documentation for further information on how to customise service desk notifications. In order to ensure certain fields are completed by an approver you can make a field required in the relevant workflow transition, so it won’t be able to progress without information added to those fields.
