We made Halp's new Jira integration even better 🔥

Check out the latest updates to our Jira integration experience and submit a request to get it switched on for your team!

Hey y’all 👋

As you might recall, earlier this year we made some BIG changes to the way Halp integrates with your favorite Jira products, including better syncing between tools and cutting setup time by more than half.

Some of you are already using this new integration experience and loving it, but of course we couldn’t just stop there, so we’ve made even MORE improvements, including:

  • Formless ticket creation (*Slack only): Jira-enabled Halp queues no longer require forms, so you can turn messages into tickets instantly. This is currently available for any queues with only one request type and no required fields (aside from the summary).

  • Request participant <> follower syncing: We now sync Halp followers with JSM request participants. Request participants added in Jira will now get updates in Slack on the ticket, including public comments, and followers will automatically be added to the issue in Jira Service Management.

  • Auto-sync updates: Halp now automatically re-syncs fields/statuses/transitions/updates when settings change in Jira.

  • Issue deletes: Halp now supports Jira Service Management Issue deletes. If a ticket is deleted in JSM, Halp will post an update to the ticket and archive it.

  • CSAT whispers: When gathering CSAT feedback, the message is now posted as a whisper directly to the requester so you can ensure the actual help seeker is the one submitting feedback.

If all that’s not enough, we’ve got a ton of great stuff on the roadmap, including more CSAT improvements and approvals in Slack.

If you haven’t had a chance yet to try out the new integration experience, submit a request to our team and we’ll get it switched on for you ASAP. (Hint: if you’re a Jira Service Management user, making the switch may even cut down your Halp bill.)

As always, be sure to share your feedback in the comments below!

Nice set of features for sure! Been waiting for Formless ticket creation. That made it really easy to create tickets with the 'old' Halp integration experience.

Approvals in Slack will be a 'hit' for sure, especially for some of our clients. Also, ticket detail visibility/editability is something I've been asked about multiple times.

@Nicole Pitarowhat about defining different triggers for a queue? For example, mapping custom emojis with different request forms on a queue level? That was possible in Halp with Recipes but on a global level.

@Nicole Pitaro Does this mean that single emoji tickets are now possible with the new integration?

Hi @Tomislav Tobijas _Koios_ -- YAY! Glad to hear we are heading in the right direction :)

Triggers for request types isn't on our current roadmap -- were thinking about it a little differently. Would love to understand if this would align with your needs: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDCLOUD-11450
