Awesome, thanks @Peter Preston !

I was able to append the following to my query to accomplish what I needed!

and issueFormsVersion is EMPTY

However, I wasn't able to pull in the Form Count Fields . Is that expected?

Hi Atlassian forms team

How can we translate the new forms to the languages supported by a service management project ?

As example

We have a Servicedesk in

  1. German (default)
  2. French

We create the new form in German and set the language of the form to German.

How can we add a french translation for the SAME FORM

e.g the same way we can add translation for Request type fields

Thanks for posting this ☝️ @Peter Reiser -- You can only set one language setting per form, but there is an imperfect workaround:

  • Create multiple versions of your form (for example, one in German and one in French)
  • Create a choice question at the top of your form with the target languages. Then create conditional sections which include all of the form questions in each of the language options

This doesn't solve for error and validation messages, though. Currently only one language can be set per form.

@Peter Preston ,

When we split the forms based on language,

I'm then assuming the form to show would be triggered based on the language preference of the client? Or is that also a manual action?

@Peter Preston

You can only set one language setting per form, but there is an imperfect workaround:

This is really bad news when you have international ServiceDesks.

As example we have 20 Servicedesks in 8 countries  with 10+ languages

Do you plan to add multi-language  forms support in the future   ?

Is there a roadmap regarding availability for the Data Center?

Going to respond to a few comments in this one...

@Dirk Ronsmans 👋 -- what I meant to say is that you can use conditional logic in your forms to let a user to pick the language they want to use for the form. As the form builder, you would have to build the form once for each language. In @Peter Reiser 's example you would build a German language form and a French language form, each in their own section.

The first question of your form would be "Choose your language" with a dropdown to select German or French. Based on the user's choice, either the German or the French language form would display.

@Peter Reiser 👋 -- I need to explore this in more detail with the product team to come up with a best practice for your use case. I see how important this is, especially when you work across countries and languages so much. I created a dedicated post in the Forms Group to continue this conversation:

Hi @Roland Megele 👋 -- Data Center customers can still purchase ProForma from the Marketplace here:

https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1215833/proforma-forms-checklist-for-jira?hosting=datacenter&tab=overview

The ProForma app is supported, but there isn't yet a public roadmap for integrating ProForma with Data Center.

@Peter Preston is there a ticket tracking the integration of Proforma into Jira Software?

Looking into that @Kate Doebler -- will report back when I know more

Lucas Cirelli Lopes March 22, 2022

We already have the new builder on our Sandbox, but we also have ProForma Lite installed on our production site.

He haven't received the new form builder on production yet. Any updates on when we might have it?

If we uninstall the app, will we get access to the new builder?

@Kate Doebler -- I'm not aware of a public ticket tracking the integration of ProForma with Jira Software. I'll share news on that in the Forms Group when I can.

Hi @Lucas Cirelli Lopes 👋

Having ProForma Lite installed on prod will keep that instance from getting the integrated form builder for now. We're getting close to migrating instances like this over to the new form builder and we'll share dates soon.

Don't uninstall the ProForma Lite app if you're actively using it.

Hi Atlassian Forms team,

it is in your roadmap a feature to have a list of enabled forms with the related links in order to avoid to enter in the forms section, choose the desired form, go in the settings of this form and copy the link to share?

Best regards,

Stefano

Is there a schedule for making this feature available in Data Center edition of Service Desk?

Hi @Wellington Lee 👋 -- Data Center customers can use the ProForma Marketplace app. It is still a paid product, but if you need to run a proof of concept  or only need a few forms you can also use ProForma Lite for free.

I don't have any news to share on Data Center integration similar to Cloud.

@Stefano Galati are you referring to Issue Forms that link directly to a form? At the moment, there is not a simpler way of finding Issue Form links than going to each form's setting page. However, we are working on an update to issue forms that will allow you to find your forms through a picker.

More to come on that in the next few weeks.

Hi @Mark Thomas the ProForma Marketplace app for Data Center is available. There isn't any ProForma-to-Data Center integration news to share right now.

I'm reading the migration guide and thought i would seek some clarification. The new native form builder is that the existing drag and drop request/issue screen or something new. If its new would we be able to preview that before it goes live? We have a few forms out there and would like to know that they will transition without loss of function.

@Dmitry Korobov the new native form builder is the integration of the ProForma Marketplace app into Jira Service Management:

https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/use-forms-in-jira-service-management/

If you were a ProForma customer, your form will be migrated without loss of function or data. If you haven't had ProForma installed, this will be a new feature set that will not affect your current request screen configurations.

Hi! Any update about the availability of the form builder in Jira Software? I used to be a user of Proforma Forms, and loved it so much. I miss it ;-).

We currently use the ProForm add on.  When will it be migrated, or was it already and we didn't even notice?

Hi @bertrand.drouhard

I can't share any updates on the form builder coming to Jira Software. If you have an instance of Jira Software that has ProForma installed, your instance will be migrated to the new form builder. For Software instances without ProForma currently installed, I'm not sure when forms are coming.

@Sue Lund 👋

There are some improvements in the new form builder, so if your form builder looks like it always did with ProForma you haven't been migrated yet. We're going to start migrating all remaining ProForma customers late May/early June. We're preparing an update now to share more details on the migration. I'll post that news in the Forms Group.
