Hi,
We need Jira Service Desk Cloud version and want to integrate it with our on Prem Jira 7.13.3 version.
Is this doable? Also what are the dependencies, processes and considerations to achieve it?
Thank you,
Sid
It depends on what you mean by "integrate".
If you have a Jira system already, by far your best option is going to be to add Jira Service Desk to it. But that is a single system, which will be either Server, Cloud or Data Centre.
There is no way to add a Cloud application to a Server install (or vice versa).
If you could define what you mean by "integrate", we may be able to tell you more.
Hi Nic,
Thank you for your response. Yes we have a Jira System already - 7.13.3 server / DC.
Since we want high uptime and minimal admin and maintenance overheads we were considering Jira Service Desk Cloud edition and hoping to integrate it with the server Jira software system we already have.
We were of the impression, that as Jira can integrate (=connect) with hundreds of other apps and few of them SaaS - integrating it with Jira Cloud would be a use case solved already.
Thanks,
Sid
