Implementing SelectCFType for Service Desk with custom options

Hello,

I already extended SelectCFType to create a custom field that shows up in Jira Service Desk. The options of this custom field need to get initialized using a REST-Call. To do so I've overridden the method getVelocityParameters to remove the current field's options, make the the REST call and then create the new options.

This works somehow with some strange behaviours:

1- In the Administration window, when I add the new custom field, Jira force me to add options, what I actually don't need. Message: "

Your custom field must have some options.". How can I get rid of this?

2- When I create a ticket in Jira Service Desk the first time, the custom field has only the (dummy) options I had to enter in the configuration dialogue (see. 1). So no REST-loaded options are there. Maybe because getVelocityParameters is not called yet. So every time I had to go in the ticket's edit mode to actualize the options. Is it possible to load the options before I enter in the ticket creation window?

I will really appreciate any help!
