How can I stop foreign email accounts that send emails to the linked Email account for Jira Service Desk from getting automatically added as customers.
Under Project Settings > Customer Permissions
I have configured Who can access the portal and send requests to Project as Customers my team adds to the project
You can choose the customer permission from the Jira service desk global configuration, you can choose "No" for 1st option and then "yes" for second option. So that customers can create requests from portal or sending emails but only your team will be creating the customer account and not the customers themselves.
