Hello, We are using service desk, and offering it to our clients ans issue management system. WE have put link to our service desk in our website, where our clients can log in to post they problems, but if we use HTTPS for service desk, it id incredibly slow, it might take 2-3 min just to open the page, if we turn off HTTPS all work,s BUT We need HTTPS in our website, as we are working with VISA and MASTER cards, and other sensitive information,
Do you have any idea how to make thous things live together ? Service desk and HTTPS ?
Or may be some idea about some workarround?
please write ( maris@navex.lv)
Hi,
try opening your service desk site with browser debugging (F12) enabled. Maybe your HTTPS config redirects to often. Are you using a reverse proxy (Apache / Ngnix) or to you terminate the HTTPS directly at the Tomcat application server?
Service desk & Jira just run fine even when using HTTPS, so this will be a configuration error.
Best

Hi,
we don't use reverse proxy, configuration was made by following Atlassian manual (https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/running-jira-applications-over-ssl-or-https-938847764.html)
And how should we understand Atlassian warning: "Note, however, that using HTTPS may result in slower performance." ?
