I have set, in most of my workflows, a series of post functions that change the assignee automatically.
One such post function in the transitions works on copying the current assignee to a custom field (called "Previous Assignee" - it works as a variable) and then i reset the assignee to that "Previous Assignee" whenever a transition would make use of it.
However, the declaration of that variable custom field works only when the ticket is going through the transition from a status to the next. If the issue is kept on the current status but manually reassigned, the custom "Previous Assignee" field doesn't get a new value based on the manually set assignee and it screws up the whole flow.
Is there a way for me to edit this "Previous Assignee" field/variable when the ticket is manually reassigned, without needing the ticket to go through a status transition?
