I have setup email to ticket and the auto-creation of JIRA accounts. What level access to these automatically configured accounts receive? Is there a license required for these users? I'm assuming they just receive a customer license, which would mean there is no additional fee, but I wanted to make sure before implementing this with my company.
Basically, there are two different ways to set up public signup in Cloud. You can do that through JIRA Service Desk or through JIRA's user management. If you have set this only in Service Desk, then a license won't be required and the users will be customers. However, if you have set this through JIRA user management, the user created will use one of your licenses.
