I need to calculate how long an idea has been on the backlog list in Product Discovery. I'd like to use a date variable like @today and subtract the idea's creation date from it in a custom formula, but it doesn't recognize the current date as a variable. I also can't create a field using a current date variable. Any suggestions?
Thanks Julie. If I could create a field with a date variable, that would help, but that doesn't seem possible either. Although I've tried subtracting one date field from another in a formula, and that doesn't seem to be allowed either. Here's hoping the Product Discovery team sees this.
Thanks for your input
Hi,
we only have an issue with the field with date. we do not unsterdand why we cannot load date.
which format we have to have in our csv file?
Thanks
Hi @Kim Steele ,
It's not currently possible to use date-fields within custom formulas, but we do have an open feature request for this functionality already entered with engineering.
JPD FRs are not publicly available to follow, watch and vote for like other Atlassian products, but that ticket for reference is:
JPD-116; Ability to use date fields in custom formulas
Our team is actively sharing releases to the JPD Community such as this recent one: Early Access Program: Global fields - so following the JPD Community would be our suggestion for updates.
Thank you Nick. Is there any expectation of how far out on the roadmap this might be?
