Good morning folks.
We are having su much fun with JPD. We see such a great potential for us here.
Playing with automations, as always, I am wondering how could I trigger a status change on the Idea when the Delivery Ticket has something that went from To Do to In Progress and even... close.
I'm sure there is a recipe for this, I'm just not sure how to attack this.
Thanks for your help!
Hi @Martin
I can share how I have done it and most probably it is similar to what is in the FAQ :) I will take a look as well since I am curious to see what JPD folks suggest.
I have done automation across 2 projects, the Idea project and the one where the implementing (delivery) tickets are. You need to do this from System > Global automation. My rule is located in the Idea project.
If you have implementing tickets in many different software projects you can create separate rules or combine them all in one.
My example listens for changes in the status of the "delivery" ticket and when one of the defined "FROM" -> "TO" transitions happens, the Idea ticket status gets updated to "DONE".
Thank you. I can confirm this is working!
Hi everyone - we want to do the same with "in development" & "Delivery". Automation on DONE is working very well!
But the idea is stuck on Parking Lot all the time :/
EDIT: Added conditions but still not working:
