Hi all! This is driving me nuts in Product Discovery:
You know how in a normal Backlog, it shows you how many points are currently allocated to a sprint?
I want to mimic this in JIRA Product Discovery, but the only things that seem able to display are:
I have made a "BUP Sprint Plan" field: I want to group by that field, but instead of showing the # of tickets, I want to show the # of estimated points.
Am I missing something, or is there no way to do this in Product Discovery?
Thank you!
Hi @David Gerrard is this what you are looking for?
where the highlighted are the sum/avg/median/count of the field...

This is just a regular view with 'group by'. The only thing I needed to do is to click on the grey cell under the field's name and decide what aggregation to use:

@Omer Meshar You hero! That's exactly what I wanted, I had no idea the inter-column headers were clickable!
@Rohan Swami a tooltip or placeholder label would be useful here :)

Hey David, want to make sure i understand this correctly: In Jira Product Discovery you have ideas and you want to group by a field, while showing the sum of another field?
eg. in the screenshot below I've grouped by 'Teams' field, and rather than just show 3 ideas next to Team 2 you want to sum by another field. Perhaps showing aggregate effort of 12 next to Team 2?

I actually have a similar use case (or at least I believe I have).
I have a view for example for planned work for Q4 (Q4 is a value in a field called "quarter").
Next, I have some formula calculating impact and effort for each item (let's assume numeric).
I now want to be able to see how much effort (number) and impact (value) I have expected in Q4.
This is more a reporting capability as I see it.

Hi @Rohan Swami : exactly right, yep.
It looks like @Omer Meshar 's answer solves for exactly what I'm after: it's just that it only works in the List view. Having this in the board view as well would be my ultimate goal, but even just having it in the list is amazing!
