Progress on Intake and Share?

Hey 

I am just wondering if there are any updates on the following:

A better method to get requests/ ideas into JIRA product discovery

and 

A better ability to share a view externally via the share tab. 

The second question about sharing has become urgent as I note I cannot share a view via an iframe :( 

It would be great if you could support an embed option similar to how GitHub works with gists

Any update you can give on these would be great

Hi @Till , not exactly like that, but you can create a  field of type "select" that has a value which, once set, puts a colour next to the idea in the different views.

thx for getting back to me.

I'm using this functionality already, but it would be awesome if there'd be an automation that marks the ideas red, when an active blocking idea is added.
At the moment I'd need to do this manually and that is too much overhead for me tbh.

OK, got it. 

I think you should be able to do it using automation rules (project settings > automation) but I haven't tried. 

Probably something similar to what's described here under "Transition an Idea to Done when the Epic is Done" - where you create a rule that checks, when the status of an idea changes, if there are linked ideas of a specific type, and if so sets a field value to the target idea 🤔
