Hi,
we are using Jira Software Data Center and it looks like I can't connect JPD to Data Center. Is this right? Would be great to add a hint to the documentation.
If it is not supported, is it on the roadmap or not planned?
Regards,
Markus
Thanks for the heads up, we'll add more detail to the documentation we have available. As it stands, you can use Jira Software Data Center while you are using Jira Product Discovery Cloud and do all your discovery work to prioritise ideas, create roadmaps and share them with your stakeholders. However you won't be able to connect your JPD ideas to delivery tickets in Jira Software Data Center.
This isn't on our short-term roadmap, however I've recorded your feedback so we can keep this in mind for future prioritisation.
@Markus Jankowski hey there. Just to add another option for integrating JPD with JDC you can find in the Atlassian marketplace - ZigiOps. Fully no-code and secure (does not save any of the transferred data), the ZigiOps tool can connect and sync them. Can be customized easily. Feel free to give test it via our free trial.

Hi @Markus Jankowski ,
As many have mentioned already, JPD does not have a DC offering at this time. Having said that, I believe some customers have connected JPD to their DC instance using marketplace apps, the API, or some other options listed below:

Hi @Markus Jankowski ,
Welcome to the Atlassian Community!!
At the moment, Jira Product Discovery is only available on Cloud Environment/Deployment and not available as Datacenter or Server.

Mayer

this is clear and we want to use it in the cloud. However, I want to use my existing Jira Software Data Center instance in the delivery tab. So delivery progress and status are managed by Jira Software Data Center.
