Jira Product Discovery integration with Jira Data Center is live!

That is why we are excited to introduce a new integration that lets you connect Jira Product Discovery with Jira Data Center to unify knowledge across deployments and help break down barriers between teams. This integration empowers your teams to move faster, reduce context switching, and unlock the full value of cloud innovation, even before a full migration is complete.

• Connect discovery and delivery - Reduce context switching, add visibility, and move faster by seamlessly connecting your ideas to the delivery work happening in Jira Data Center.

• Unlock cloud value before completing a migration - Accelerate your digital transformation by unlocking access to cloud products without waiting until a migration is complete.

Now from the Delivery tab of Jira Product Discovery, you can create or link work items in Jira Data Center instance!

Go to Delivery tab, and choose your Jira Data Center instance from the Site drop down.

Then choose a relevant Jira Data Center project where you want to create or link the work item.

To set up Jira Product Discovery with your Jira Data Center site, please follow these steps.

• Obtain a Jira Product Discovery Premium license if you don’t already.

• Upgrade to Jira Data Center 10.3.10 if you haven’t yet.

• Download the free Jira Product Discovery integration for Jira Data Center app from the Atlassian marketplace.

• Get started using Jira Product Discovery with your Jira Data Center site. Follow the steps listed here to create and link Jira Data Center work items from Jira Product Discovery.

Data Center end of life will take place on March 28, 2029. Data Center subscriptions and any associated Marketplace apps will expire on this date. For more information, please refer to Atlassian Ascend.
