I'm attempting to integrate Salesforce with Jira Product Discovery for the first time. However, I can seem to authenticate to view the data as a new insight after I paste the Salesforce link in. Seems like Salesforce is configured to require this authentication, but not if the configuration needs to be tweaked somewhere to avoid the error message and allow for successful authentication. I've been referencing this integration doc but it's a bit sparse. Any help would be appreciated :)
Hi @Caitlin ,
I believe we had some recent errors with adding insights through Slack, Salesforce, and some other 3rd party apps. This should be now corrected.
If not - in the past we've seen some customers run into this issue and correct it by going to: https://id.atlassian.com/manage-profile/apps
Then under the Atlassian third party account access >> Revoke access to Atlassian Links - Salesforce. Following that, try authenticating your insight once again (after refreshing the pages).
Let us know if that helps or if you continue seeing this issue.
Hi @Caitlin
Can you authenticate? or do you get that error when you click on authenticate?
If so, can you try another browser?
If you hover over the red exclamation, what is the message?
Regards
