Hi,

I am already using the defaults Labels field for something in Jira Product Discovery project.
I want to create another field of type Label in my project, to use for tracking something else.
How can I do this?

Hi @ginni_kakkar and welcome to the Community!

JPD does not support adding additional labels custom fields aside the system labels field. The option that comes closest as an alternative, would be a select field. It does have the limitation that users can't add new options directly while they type, but on the other hand it is much richer visually than in other Jira project types, as the select options visually look like labels. I created a colour select field to illustrate:

Hope this helps!

Hi @ginni_kakkar ,

As @Walter Buggenhout mentioned, JPD does not offer a label field-type. But the single-select or multi-select field would most likely be the closest thing. Here is JPD a field reference doc. JPD fields can be configured under each project, or globally to apply to multiple JPD projects if that is of interest.
