I have been looking through the pricing information available here: Manage your teams' product access | Jira Product Discovery | Atlassian Support
We have a group of stakeholder users that want to be able to provide ideas into the JPD space, but would be a waste of a licence to provide access to Jira in general (no interest in involvement in the day-to-day delivery process).
Am I reading this correctly in that we can provide Stakeholders access to JUST Jira Product discovery projects? And this would not require us to use one of our normal Jira Licences to do so?
If that is possible, it could really help us not waste a bunch of Jira Licences on users who won't use them.
Hey @Kate
Yep you are spot on here.
Stakeholders can submit ideas. There is no cost. You don't need to use any other Atlassian/Jira paid license. Best summarised by Tanguy in this post (screenshot below). Hope that helps!
@John McKiernan and @Tanguy Crusson Is there a way for non-Jira users who are Contributors in JPD to see a list of JPD projects (as when you open JPD from the Atlassian app selector)?
We have a number of projects and want to provide our Contributors with a single URL to see the list of available projects they have access to. Not all our Contributors have Jira product access.

@Taronish Pithawala not today, but we are changing the solution for contributors to use product roles instead (there will be a "Jira Product Discovery - contributor" role instead of having to add users in a specific user group). One of the benefits of this will be that users will be able to see the list of projects in Jira

@Tanguy Crusson thanks for the reply. Is this current limitation only for those without Jira product access? That is, if my Contributors have Confluence product access, will they be able to see the list of JPD projects from a single URL?

@Taronish Pithawala yes, that should work if they have Confluence product access and Jira Product Discovery contributor access (once we're done with the new solution)
