I like when we can set targets based on quarters, but is there a way to set the quarter boundaries based on the Feb-Jan style fiscal calendar rather than the actual Jan-December calendar? I don't love the fiscal calendar, but having a roadmap that reflects that Q1 FY25 starts on February 1st would make alignment much easier.
Hi @Andy Nortrup ,
I've gone ahead and created an internal feature request. For reference, that ticket is:
JPD feature requests and bugs are not publicly available like other Atlassian products, so we do suggest following our Community for updates and releases such as these most recent ones:
The closest workaround at this time would be to set the Timeline view's time scale to monthly, and select your fiscal year's months to view what is planned:
We also understand months have more flexibility in the time scale while the quarters are a bit more rigid to only the ones currently available - but I've mentioned this in feature requested to review as well.

Hey Nick,
Thanks for the detailed response. I appreciate it.
One additional piece of color. One thing I've had a problem with in other products is when the next fiscal year starts in the current calendar year. For example for me Fiscal year 25 starts on February 1st 2024. I'd love to see the quarter view be able to show things by the quarter of the fiscal year (FY25Q1, FY25Q2) over just Feb-Apr. It's a lot easier to say Q1, Q2, Q3 rather than have to decode months to quarters with the weird month offset.
Thanks,
Andy

Hi Andy, not yet, we are likely to revisit this in the future
