Hi,
It does not seem possible to add an attachment directly in the idea creation form? It seems it's only possible to do in the issue view after the idea has been created. This is not very straight forwards since some of our contributors would like to add attachments directly when submitting the idea. Is this planned to change in the future? :)
Thanks!
Hi @Adam Gustafsson ,
As Hermance mentioned, it's not currently possible to add an attachment at idea creation. In the meantime, we have opened a feature request for this functionality.
JPD feature requests are internal at this time and not publicly available, but we do update through Community regularly like with this most recent update to JPD.
Hi Adam, It's not possible at the moment but that's definitely an improvement we will explore.
Cheers,
Hermance

I would like this feature as well. It is a big part of our process and its odd to not make it available during the idea creation.

Hi @Nick Haller and @Hermance NDounga,
Any updates about this feature?
Attachment is a very basic field when we create an issue. When we talk about product, customers and contributors wants to add images, videos, screenshots to demonstrate de idea/issue they are referring to.
This also makes our product team way more efficient.
Otherwise, the Product board is not really useful to some teams reality.
Thanks,
Karla.-

Hi @Karla Garcia ,
No updates on this feature request at the moment, nor an ETA on when this will be released.
In the meantime the workaround is adding the attachment(s) after the idea is created. We know it's not ideal since it's an additional step, but contributors can add attachments to ideas even if they do not have create permission.
