Hi everyone, OK I've turned this on for everyone! You can now try the feature. I've also given you access to the contributor feature. Any issues/concerns, you know where to find me 🙂 Please let us know how you go!
Current limitations:
If you want to create or edit templates, you need to do it in an idea (open templates below the description of an idea). In the next few days you'll be able to create/edit templates directly from the idea submission settings screen
You cannot make fields mandatory yet. We're not thinking of making it too granular at this stage, but if you want we can add an option "make all fields mandatory" if that helps.
@Tanguy Crusson Hello I switched my role from creator/admin to contributor/member and I didn't see the new Create an Idea button. Do I need to be contributor/viewer?
Also, could you turn "all required" fields mentioned in the limitations above for our environment?
Something is slightly off about the "Select a view" field. I think I see one (or several?) views there that aren't ours, or that we have already deleted, or renamed. Hard to put my finger on it, though (we have 30+ views ;-))

@Jan-Hendrik Spieth there should only be one (called "Idea view"). It's a special view we use to store which fields are pinned when you open an idea. We're hiding it, thanks for reporting this 👍
If you see others, please let me know.
@CC to see the "Submit an idea" button you need to be a contributor/viewer. We're actually improving this so creators can see a preview of the experience (we suspected a comment like yours would come fast 🙂)

@CC this improvement (making fields mandatory) is not there yet. Coming soon. You'll see it in the Idea submission setting when it's there (and I'll comment here)

@Elaine Cawthorne@Ronald de Grootwe've turned this on for everyone who requested access before yesterday. We'll wait to see how this goes before turning it on to more people
Hello! I know I am late to the party, but I'd like to be let in, please. We would like to archive the JSM we have created for this and I am very eager to try it out :D
Hey. Even though I have many users with access to Atlassian products (JIRA Software etc.) they can't create ideas using the functionality as described unless I add them specifically to the jira-product-discovery-contributors group. I understood that any viewer with access to Atlassian products should be able to add ideas without updating any other settings but maybe I'm missing something.
