Start(ed) sprint vs aka future sprints, how it all works

Hi,

Looks like I can start Sprint no matter what start/end dates are, in this case what all call "Future" sprint? is only base on date range ??

I also see that once Sprint started (have those 3 status color cirles) then you can not delete it, even if no issues are assigned to it.

I appreciate if anybody can help me with those definitions.

Hi Mario,

According to JIRA terminology a future sprint is a sprint which is being planned but has not been started. Also you can delete only planned sprints(sprints that are not yet started).

Peter
