Hi,
With the newest version of Activity for JIRA, I have more control over the filters. This is great.
However, it was important for me / my team to only filter activities that occur on tasks assigned to me / team member. As it stands, people will see irrelevant (to them) notifications.
I believe this is an important feature to have, if it is not currently possible, especially for multi-disciplinary teams.
Thanks and congrats on the new update!
Regards,
Paolo
Hi Paolo,
to use a "filter" as filter for the common activity stream is not possible. So, if we re-enable this feature, the filter has to be resolved and all it's issue keys has to be forwarded to the call for the stream. This will not work for filters with large results(lots of issues), but I will re-enable this feature soon, because a lot of people are asking for this.
In addition, this feature may decrease the performance of your instance. This happens because for every event and logged in user a check has to be performed, if the issue of the event is in the filter or not (if one is configured).
Kind regards,
Daniel John
