For reasons that are too lengthy to discuss, my companies instances of Jira Core (Service Desk included) and JiraSoftware are separate instances.
We do have the application link setup between the two and that all works fine.
I can link tickets back and forth between the two instances just fine.
However, I cannot search one from the other. The main example I am attempting right now is to search for issues with links to a project in the other application. I have both Scriptrunner and JQL Search Extension addons installed and neither of those seem to help. I either get just simply no results found or that my project doesn't exist, depending on which jql function I am using.
Is it possible to do something like that across linked applications?
Actually, looks like Scriptrunner did have a function after all.
issueFunction in linkedIssuesOfRemote seems to be the winner.
Doesn't allow me to get status of the remote linked ticket though. Which is a big piece of what I would be after.
