Hi - we have a JIRA installation that has been configured for an LDAP user directory. The issue is, when it was configured, it was setup to query a specific OU in our environment, which means (from what I can tell) people outside of the OU cannot get access to JIRA.
We'd now like to open the access a bit, perhaps to the whole directory. What's the best method to do this? I can add another directory but wondering if I can just edit the existing directory (perhaps removing the line pointing to specific OU?).There does not seem to be a way to edit the directory config via the Administration page (Admin>User Management>User Directory).
I've noticed our Confluence server is not configured to point to any specific OU so can compare the directory config connection.

You should edit the LDAP directory and remove/change the OU parameter. Please see the docs:
