Where does the estimate come from on tempo reports?

Clare Lawson December 1, 2022

Hi All.  Having some trouble with Tempo.  Do you know where the estimated time is pulled from on reports?  It sometimes does not show up on reporting even if the "estimate" field on the ticket is populated.

Both Original estimate and Time remaining are Jira native fields and Tempo recognizes both of them. Can you please confirm if there is no other Jira custom fields with similar name in the Project settings > Issues > Fields?

Hi. I don't see any custom fields with similar names.

In this case, please open a support ticket for further investigation, since this behaviour is not consistent through out the report.

IIRC, there are two “estimate” fields, one related to classic company projects, and one related to the new team projects.  Perhaps Tempo recognizes only one of those fields?

I am on the server version and had to regress back to V4.3.3, V4.3.4 was pulled from availability.  There is V4.3.3 to download and re-install most other platforms.
