Hello,
My colleague made a app on the dashboard using a filter from Appfire. He has made the filter visible to me and has made me an editor. For some reason, I cannot access the data when I click. It's only working for him. We are both site admins. When I hover over, it gives the illusion that I will be able to click, but it doesn't go anywhere. Any idea what is going on?

So you're just trying to click a link on the dashboard and nothing is happening when it should? If so that sounds like it might be a browser or cookie issue. Try using a different browser, or private browsing mode, to see if the problem persists.

It's something with the app/filter because when I signed in as my colleague who made the filter and the dashboard, I was able to click.

Hi, @Clare Lawson. Since we're talking about an Appfire app here, you may want to go strait to the source on this:
Whatever path you choose, please let us know how you solved the problem.

So, I put in a ticket with Appfire. They asked me to update my app. I don't want to pay for the whole 'dashboard hub for Jira.' I just want the app that is included in Jira to actually work.

Sorry to hear that, @Clare Lawson. I know this sort of thing can be frustrating.
Unfortunately, Atlassian can't be all things to all people. I.e., the way you want it to work may not be the way I want it tot work. So, like many other companies in the enterprise software space, they made the software extensible and created an ecosystem where other software developers can extend their products.
It sounds like your colleague found the Appfire app to be useful due to their dashboard extensions and now you'd like to access those extensions, too.
Or, maybe I am misunderstanding things?

Hi there! So, the issue is I cannot open the filter that my colleague set up in the dashboard. Today they asked me to check project permissions. That didn't do the trick. I have a work around. I just need to make a copy of the dashboard and put my own filter in there. That seems to do the trick.

Can you open the filter and view it? That is always the first step in troubleshooting a Dashboard issue for me with a user. Start with the filter directly viewing the data.
