Using JQL I want to find all the bugs that are linked with any story

Dipak Naokar November 8, 2023
Take this scenario.
There are 100 Bugs in the system for my  (      "fix version" = "xpa4.11" and "exist since"="xpa4.11" )
Make the following assumptions:
  • 40 Bugs have nothing linked to them
  • 25 Bugs are linked with the story (irrespective of "link type")
  • 35 Bugs are linked with other bugs ( irrespective of "link type").
Note, I don not want to pay for any add-on, but want to manage the show in our existing premium subscription.
Please tell me a JQL  filter that will fetch the 25 records as in the second bullet point. (The JQL should not have the clause for "link type")

Here is a start ...  I tested at jira.atlassian.com.   If you know the story id, you can use this:

key in linkedIssues("MP-88")

and you'll get the 10 linked issues.

I am fairly certain there is a way to convert that hard coded "MP-88" into something dynamic (e.g. JQL of its own) but hopefully this function will get you going.
