what field or link on Jira issue detail screen takes me back to Jira Align issue detail screen?

Dear All,

I have integrated a Jira project with Jira Align. The sync seems to work fine where If I create a feature in Jira Align, it syncs back in Jira successfully.

If I open the Issue detail screen in Jira Align, I can see the button - View in Jira, clicking which takes me to the Jira screen where the Jira Epic got created via the connector.

Can someone please help me which field or what is the name of the link that I should be looking for in Jira, clicking which takes me back to the Jira Align feature details screen?

I can't seem to recollect what that field is called in Jira? I am not able to also see that link anywhere on my issue details screen in Jira project too, so clearly I am missing a small part in the configuration

Hi Mit, 

There should be a link in Jira linking to the integrated issue in Jira Align. Do you see that link?

If not, can you please (have your Jira Align admin) check what the setting "Create web links on Jira issues to Jira Align work items" in Jira Settings -> Jira Setup is set to?

yeah @Philipp Barry - it was my bad. probably just that time of the night that I should get some sleep... all good :) and yeah, I was able to find the link too

Thanks for posting the question!

Here are the steps to find the field that will lead you to the respective JA issue.

1. Navigate to the issues grid in Jira
2. Select a story or Epic
3. Click on Web Links or Issue Links depending on the version of Jira
4. Click on Jira Align
   

Should still face any difficulty in finding the Jira Align link after following the above steps feel free to raise a Jira Align support ticket by accessing this contact support.

Yes, thank you Edvaldo... weblink is what I should be looking at. But for some reason, web link or issue link with Jira Align is not visible on the Jira project that I have synced.

Could this be due to some setting that we could have missed out while establishing Jira set-up in Jira Align or is this something that needs to be enabled from Jira side?

I can see the ability to manually add a weblink, but the weblink with Jira align does not seem to have been created automatically

sorry @Edvaldo Lima please ignore.. I should have scrolled a little bit further down... lolss.. all good. think I was able to locate the weblink field. 

It is just that for some reason I was not able to recollect what is that field called.
