Hello All,
We are looking for a solution to bulk delete features or epics in jira align? How can we do this?
Thanks,
Sachin.
Hi Sachin,
You can bulk delete Features or Epics in Jira Align by using the Mass Move feature of Jira Align.
In the Feature Grid click on More Actions
Then click on Mass Move
Then click on Mass Delete View
You will see the warning model:
Deleting the selection item(s) will move them to the recycle bin. It will remove all child relationships as well.
Example: Deleting an Epic will also delete all Capabilities, Features and Stories linked to it.
You must select a Program before you will see any items for "moving" (to the recycle bin).
It is a similar process for deleting Epics.
Do you have any further questions about this process?
@sachin gangam On the Feature or Epic grid view, click on the More Actions button and select Mass Move. On the Mass Move screen, in the upper right corner click on the Mass Delete button. On the Mass Delete screen, select Feature or Epic in the Object dropdown and a program in the Program dropdown. Select the checkboxes of the Features or Epics that you want to delete and then click on the Move to Recycle Bin button in the lower right. The work items will not be deleted but moved to the Recycle Bin. In order to delete the work items, you need to go to the Recycle Bin afterwards and select the permanently delete the work items. One quirk on the Mass Delete page is that if you click the Next button to the go the next page, Jira Align does not save the checkbox selections so I recommend click the Move to Recycle Bin button each time before clicking the Next button.
