What happens when you put a Program Increment in "Done" status?

Hi all,

I need to close the previous PI in Jira Align. What happens when we put a PI in "done" status? Can we do the following for issues tagged to a PI in "done" status in Jira Align?

- make changes to the epics, features, risks, dependencies, etc. which were tagged to the previous PI.

- move the features and risks to the new/ongoing PI.

My concern is just stemming from the fact that some of the teams haven't cleaned up their last PI. There might be some features and risks that are to be moved to the new/ongoing PI from the previous one. If I put the previous PI in "done" status, will the teams still be able to move their stuff from the previous PI later onwards?

Thanks in advance, for your kind help.

Haarris

@Muhammad Haarris Ahmed After setting a PI to done, you will still be able to complete the actions you listed.

There is a report called The Program Increment Cleanup report that will help you with these cleanup activities.

The report displays the data in a series of scrolling sections. Clicking any item's Jira Align ID will open the item's detail page in another window.

  • Objectives Not Completed
  • Risks That Are Open
  • Impediments That Are Open
  • Stories Not Accepted
  • Features Not Accepted
  • Epics Not Accepted
  • Open Action Items
  • Dependencies Not Delivered
  • Stand-alone Features With No Epics Assigned
  • Stories With No Features Assigned
