Sync issues

Hello,

When the story moves to In progress in Jira -> Status of Feature in JiraAlign changes to In progress but not in Jira? Could this be due to sync issues between jira and Jira Align, if so how do I troubleshoot? Kindly suggest.

Hi @Abhinav Reddy , I suggest checking the state mapping in the Jira Connector for the Jira project that your features (Jira epics) are syncing with. In the Administration console, navigate to Jira Settings under Connectors. On the Manage Projects tab, click on State Mapping on the right of the row associated with the Jira project where the features (Jira epics) are created/synced with Jira Align. 

In the pop up window, select Features in the drop. Below the dropdown, the Jira Align feature states need to be mapped to the corresponding Jira state for Jira epics. This ensures that when the state of the feature is updated in Jira Align it will sync with Jira and that correct status is set for the Jira epic. If the states are not mapped, you will need to map them and then click on the Update button. This also needs to be done for stories for your Agile team projects which can be accomplished by selecting Stories in the dropdown menu and following the same steps.

I would start with the Audit Log for the Feature.  You should see an entry that says something like "Feature Set to in-progress by Story 123123".  Above that may be an error message is it is unable to map Jira Align "In Progress" to a Jira Status.
