Jira Instance - One URL - Possible?

Can you have multiple separate Jira instances under one Jira Domian? One main URL?

 

Is that possible? If so how

Yes and no.

You can have many instances on one domain, but they have to run on different base URLs.  There's no software that can run two things on the same URL - the whole point of a URL is that it points to one single thing.

I often run systems on the same domain:

  • charlie.com/jira-main
  • charlie.com/jira-the-second

or 

  • jira-main.charlie.com
  • jira-the-second.charlie.com

Same domain, but different urls.

Hi @Lee Street 

When using the Cloud you have one address: <company>.atlassian.net

  • Jira will then get <company>.atlassian.net/jira
  • Confluence will get <company>.atlassian.net/wiki

Your users can easily navigate between apps via the Pattern left of the Software name:

JIRA.PNG

If you only use <company>.atlassian.net it will automatically open JIRA.
